弟: 唔知o架, 不過咁大風, 你o係樓下點行呀?

My first day at Toronto. we drived about 5 hours from Ottawa. usually it takes about 4 hours but since we a a lunch at the Thousand Islands, a huge lake where many houses are built on the many islands, we used up an hour more. this Thousand Islands is huge, really Huge. i beleive there are really 1000 thousands islands in there. with the wonderful lake side view, i dont think the hour was wasted. the lunch we took is also awesome, though i accidentally ordered a dish with a burger size deep fried cheese and a half plate of garlic toasts and 3 different excellent salsa sauces.

my first night at Toronto is raining again (but we had a full great sunshine in the afternoon). and my first dinner here is Shanghai food. although my friend told me that we most likely will have quite a lot of good Chinese cousines here, i still find it funny to having Chinese food on the other side of the earth. tomorrow we are going to Yum Cha, of course, Guangdong restaurant.

actually it’s been raining quite a lot this week. it rained too the day we went to Montreal. however, the rain subsided a bit when we walked through the Old Port and St. Joseph Church, which i considered myself to be lucky…

HI ALL~~~~

it's me writing my first post in Canada. here is now a bit colder than i expected. luckily i brought with me a thicker jacket when i was packing in case there's any “accident”. anyway, it's really nice to have a long holiday ahead.

Ottawa is though the capital of Canada. the neighborhood is quite small and lovely. i'm staying near China Town and i found all shopping places, restaurants, tourists points are all close. each drive is less than 20 mins' ride and when it's over 20 mins, it's claimed to be “far away”. i didnt believe it… people here are all nice. their lifestyle could be summarize in one word: leisurely. almost nothing could make them rush. when i was in the traffic in the afternoon today near the Ottawa Parliament, i couldn't really convince myself to use “in the traffic”. one who lives in hk her whole life can't beleive there will one day no one car on the road.

幫S換了老土筷子, 為浩媽預備母親節禮物, 今晚好累, 原本打算要做的紅豆糕encore改明晚才做吧.

漫步嘛, 當然是跟密友去漫步啦 → 情婦M. 星期天到車公廟拜神求籤, 誰說女士求籤一定得求姻緣? 也可以只求財運, 其他就什麼都無所謂 → 人辦M. 車公廟, 車先生當真好巨大, 如果不是廟外寫明不可拍照, 阿浩就一定拍個不奕樂乎, 也罷, 就廟外阿浩已經左拍右照, 十足亞洲面孔自由人. 原來現在入廟拜神已非常系統化, 每個步驟都有專人指導, 連 “稟神” 都有人代勞, 跟文武廟有好大差別.

第二站是«香港文化博物館». 有一個展廳展示了幾位現時本港的文化人的作品, 蠻有趣的. 也為阿浩和M的拍拖日提供理想場所.

今天去電髮了, 因為頭髮不算長, 所以不是好有女人味的那種卷卷長髮, 反而似是可愛型的少女型. 嘿嘿, 已經一把年紀, 但始終不願認老, 做頭髮期間, 談到為阿浩洗髮的小幫身上, 阿浩先來向J作個小投訴: “那位洗頭姐姐好大力啊…” J先是面色一沉, 有點無可奈何的樣子, 因為髮廊到底是人手不夠吧, 然後他笑著說: “人家才十六歲, 你叫她 '姐姐' ?! 你比她年長一倍!!” 嘖, 死J, 阿浩還沒有老到這地步!!

回家時, 車站天橋下有個看來十四五歲的小妹, 見阿浩甫步下天橋, 便過來問: “小姐, 我不見了八達通, 電話又跌壞了 (手上有個配件分離的諾基亞電話), 你可以借我$20乘車回海麗村?” 阿浩聽不大清楚, 問: “哪裡?” “海麗村, 在南昌那邊, 要再轉車的.” 便而重覆她的不幸遭遇. 於是, 阿浩自自然然的去掏錢包, 給她$20.

阿浩不是第一次這樣被途人問要錢應急, 有的要$2, 有人要一程巴士費$20.7, 也有人需要$5, 這次$20, 阿浩都沒有多問原由, 算是幫到就幫吧. 如果他們只需要$20, 而我還沒有窮到拿不出來的地步, 我希望是真的幫到他們, 別要因為阿浩怕吃虧, 而真讓他們回不到家乘不到車趕不及要趕的事.

別要說我蠢, 別要告訴我這些人在作假好了.
